Who is this for?

What will we do? When will we meet? Where will we go?

Depending on the day, month, and weather, a typical day will look as follows:

  • 10:00am = meet at Lonsdale Quay Dry Dock (“the shipyards”).

  • 10:30am = go to destination #1 (indoor climbing, hiking, pool & sauna, cold plunging).

  • 12:30pm = lunch, conversation, and downtime.

  • 1:15pm = go to destination #2 (strolling the streets, bookstores, parks, beach…).

  • 3:00pm = “until we meet again….”

*throughout the day, we will converse, practice pronunciation if needed, and “nit pick” about details, and likely get into music, history, and maybe even a bit of philosophy.

Program #1: July-Mondays x 4 Program #2: July-Thursdays x 4

Program #3: August-Mondays x 3 Program #4: August-Mondays x 3

As noted above, a four day program in July will cost $800 per student (maximum 3 students per program), and a three day program in August will cost $600. If there is space available, and you are enjoying this process, you may be able to get into multiple programs at a discounted rate, however, this is dependant upon the number of students seeking to participate. Refunds are conditional upon circumstances and mutual respect.

How much will this cost?

Is this the right tutor & guide for you?

Neil Anderson, R.TCMP

Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner

with 20 Years of Nursing Experience

Neil’s professional background has gone through a number of stages, not knowing what he wanted to do out of high school had him working in machine shops until he had an honest-to-God epiphany that led him towards paramedic training, but ultimately landed him in nursing for twenty years. Throughout this eye-opening career, he experienced many things that motivated him to help people take care of themselves better so they might ideally avoid spending too much time in a hospital setting, and so, he studied and earned his Acupuncture & Herbalist license in British Columbia in 2021. While this is his major pursuit, he also has an interest in meeting new people of cultures that differ from his native Canadian one. Even though he doesn’t mind sitting down to study things that interest him, it has been his personal experience that deeper understanding is gained through practical means and applications, rather than sitting in a stagnating classroom. If you can relate to this, perhaps you’ll get along with him just fine, and enhance your English skills while having fun too!

If you like being active, if you see the value in self care, and you like the idea of learning “on the go,” please send an email with your questions or enrolment request. Space is limited to three students max per program, and you are encouraged to enrol by yourself, or with a friend.
